Trex Protect Joist, Beam and Rim Tape is a self-adhesive butyl tape designed to protect the top of joists and beams from moisture that can lead to wood rot and decay.

Product Description

- Protects the top of joists, rim joists, bearers and the ledger board from developing rot and timber decay - Butyl-based tape helps deck screws hold longer and stronger than acrylic or asphalt-based tape - Acts as a barrier between timber and galvanized metal such as joist hangers - Seals deck fasteners and prevents moisture penetration - Eliminates splitting from freeze and thaw - Available in three widths for joists, double bearers and rim joists - Provides a non-skid surface making it safer during installation - Backed by a 25-year warranty
