Firrings are used to create an angle in the construction of flat roofs to ensure water run off.

Product Description

Timber firrings are tapered strips of wood used primarily in construction to create a sloped surface on a flat roof or to level out an uneven surface. They are typically employed to facilitate water drainage by providing the necessary slope on flat roofs, ensuring that rainwater can flow towards drainage outlets and preventing water pooling, which can cause leaks and structural damage. Firrings can also be used in flooring applications to correct uneven surfaces before the installation of floor coverings.
