There are five colours that naturally arise from the quarries of Welsh Slate. Roofing slate is available in three of these Penrhyn Heather Blue, Penrhyn Heather Red and CwtyBugail Dark Blue Grey, whereas architectural products are available in four all of the above plus Penrhyn Heather Grey. Natural aggregate colours are classified as Plum (Penrhyn Heather Red), Blue (Penrhyn Heather Blue) and Green. Welsh slate benefits from a number of highly practical properties that make it an exceptional roofing slate.
