A half round ridge tile from BMI Redland can bedry fixed, mortar bedded only, or mortar bedded and mechanically fixed.Whenever half round ridge tiles are mortar bedded and mechanically fastened, neoprene washers and foam grommets should be used along with Clamping Plates and woodscrews.The half round ridge tiles can be used both on the ridge and hip of the roof.Generally, they are used on interlocking tile roofs or plain tile roofs on the ridge line and a Third Round Ridge on the hips. A major advantage of half round ridge tiles is their ability to be installed on a wide range of roof pitches.

Universal Angle Ridge Tiles can be dry fixed or mortar bedded and mechanically fixed. When ridges are mortar bedded and mechanically fixed, use the Mortar Bedded Fixing Kit (9314). A 6 mm diameter hole should be carefully drilled centrally in each ridge tile.

Baby Ridge Tiles from BMI Redland can only be installed on single storey leanto roofs, and they are commonly used with plain tiles. Half Round Baby Ridge Tiles are smaller versions of Half Round Ridge Tiles, and Pascal Roll Tiles are smaller versions of Universal Angle Ridge Tiles. All concrete and clay plain tile colours are available except Farmhouse Red and Breckland Brown. A Baby Ridge Tile can be used in pitches between 35 degrees and 45 degrees.

Plain Angle RidgeHip Tiles are available in three angles in concrete (85 degrees, 120 degrees and 140 degrees). Colours available are Slate Grey and Terracotta. They must be mortar bedded and mechanically fixed using the Mortar Bedded Fixing Kit (9314). A 6 mm diameter hole should be carefully drilled in the centre of each ridge tile.
